The Lead Fulfillment Center Associate oversees the daily tasks of Fulfillment Center Associates to ensure that goals are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall performance of the team responsible for order pulling, quality, packing, and shipping.
  • Supervises safety programs in the warehouse that includes coordinating meetings and trainings and ensuring record keeping standards are met or exceeded.
  • Schedules employees to work in accordance with department productivity requirements. Provides regular feedback for direct reports as it applies to the standards set in the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Acts as a team builder who plans, organizes, staffs, directs, and ensures the efficient operation of the department.
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager in establishing daily and monthly shift objectives in the areas of cost, quality, productivity, safety, service and profit.Additional Duties
  • Adheres to assigned department budget in areas of direct control, labor allocation, supplies, etc.
  • Additional duties to meet warehouse needs may be assigned.
  • Assumes supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Warehouse Management.Minimum Qualifications Ability to use and understand MS Office programs.Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience in a high (10,000+) sku volume manufacturing or e-commerce environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good grammar and verbal skills.
  • Good verbal skills. High energy level; maintains professional and courteous relationships with the entire team. Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible. Service oriented.
